Several Lord Botetourt athletes competed in the Liberty Christmas Invitational at Liberty University in Lynchburg last weekend in the last big meet before the holidays.
The Cavaliers had several top 10 finishes in the meet. Dmetri Toliver took a second in the boys shot put with a heave of 45’ 5.25” for the best performance by an LB team member. The boys 4×200 relay team of KJ Bratton, Dylan Knick, Cade Lang and Joey Isaacs took sixth in 1:34.28.
Two LB hurdlers placed in the 55 meters. In the girls event Maddie Malue was ninth in 9.43 and in the boys event Knick took 10th in 8.56.
