The Lord Botetourt girls are leading the Blue Ridge District soccer standings with the regular season winding down. The Cavs are unbeaten in district play coming into this week’s action.
LB had just one game last week, defeating Northside in Roanoke County, 8-0. Senior Ally Spangler had a three-goal hat trick for the Cavs and scoring once each were Emma Rice, Mia D’Arpa, Kaleigh Horan and Cailey Petrauskas. Rice and Cadence Peters had two assists each and also assisting on goals were Spangler, Horan, Darden Goode and Petrauskas.
The win gave LB a 10-2 overall record and the girls were scheduled to play at Franklin County Tuesday and at Staunton River this Friday.
