“Swing It to End It,” a captain’s choice golf tournament, will be held on August 11 at Botetourt Golf & Swim Club. The tournament is a local charity and has been in existence for 10 years. Golfers can register online at swingittoendit.org and can pick one of two tee times. First, second, third, fourth and last place will be awarded. There will be closest to the pin awards on every par 3. Raffles, red Solo cup, double circle and a cannon are for some other fun. The cost is $400 a team. Lunch, snacks and beverages (including adult) will be provided.
