August hours at Eagle Rock Clothes Closet
The Clothes Closet at Eagle Rock United Methodist Church will be open Saturday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon; Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 5-6:30 p. m.; and Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. Free clothing will be available for men, women and children.

Mt. Olivet Summer Bazaar August 13
The Summer Bazaar at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, 26310 Lee Highway, Buchanan, is set for Saturday, August 13, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., serving breakfast and lunch, with a bake sale, yard sale, and items made by the Mount Olivet Quilters.

New Beginning Church on Narrow Passage Road, Buchanan, is having a yard sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. August 6, inside, rain or shine.
Pico-Styne-Nofsinger Cemetery needs funds
Pico-Styne-Nofsinger Cemetery in Buchanan is in need of funds.
Donations are needed to have the cemetery mowed and maintenance done. This is a small cemetery and its caretakers hate to see it go back to an unkempt condition.
