Austin & Friends will present ‘Psalm 23’ concerts
David Austin & Friends will present a series of concerts featuring songs inspired by and based on Psalm 23. The performances, including one in Botetourt County, will deliver all new and original compositions in a variety of musical styles.
The remaining concert venues and dates are:
- Campbell Memorial Presbyterian on April 16 at 4 p.m. (1130 Hardy Road, Vinton)
- Troutville Baptist on April 23 at 4 p.m. (5520 Lee Highway, Troutville)

Cloverdale Brethren Thrift Store has summer clothes
The Cloverdale Church of the Brethren Thrift Store now has spring and summer clothes for the family. The shop has a large selection of tops, skirts, dresses and pants. Men’s shirts and pants and children’s clothes are also available. Hours are Saturdays, 9 to 12. Donations are always welcome.
The Food Pantry is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Shiloh Cemetery needs donations
Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery on Shiloh Road, Eagle Rock, is asking for those who have loved ones buried in the cemetery or own plots to give monetary donations to help with the upkeep of the cemetery. Expenses for gasoline, equipment and labor have gone up. If you have any questions, call 540-620-2625, or are interested in a final resting place. Lenten Services and Lunches at Fincastle UMC
Fincastle United Methodist Church invites you to Wednesday Lenten Services and Lunches in the Family Life Center, 137 S. Church Street, Fincastle. These short 20-minute services begin at 12:05 p.m. and will be led by area pastors. A home-cooked lunch will follow each service. The service and meal are designed to last about one hour. Takeout meals will be available.

Community Lenten and Easter Services in Buchanan
The Buchanan Area Ministerial Association has announced a Community Sunrise Service on April 9. It will be held at 7 a.m. at the Pavilion at Fairview Cemetery.
Children’s Fun Day at Troutville Park
Troutville Baptist Church invites area children to an Easter Fun Day at Troutville Park from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. Activities will include an Easter egg hunt, games and prizes, along with a free hot dog lunch.
Zion Hill Baptist Easter services
Celebrate the Risen Lord and Savior with Zion Hill Baptist Church.
A Sonrise service will be held at 8 a.m. on Easter Sunday. Breakfast will follow the service. Pastor Don Goforth will lead the worship service at 10 a.m. There will be no Sunday School.

Easter services, revival at Daleville Baptist
Daleville Baptist Church will have a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on April 7. The Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. on April 9 will be followed by breakfast in the fellowship hall.
Revival services will be held April 16-19 with Kenny Grant from Savannah, Ga. – Sunday, April 16, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and at 7 p.m. April 17-19.
Glade Creek Baptist Easter activities
The sanctuary choir of Glade Creek Baptist Church invites the community to this year’s Easter cantata, “Champion of Love” this coming Sunday, April 2n during the 11 a.m. worship service.
Glade Creek Baptist will have a Good Friday worship service on Friday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Glade Creek will once again host the Blue Ridge Community Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 9 at 7 a.m. in Glade Creek Cemetery. The service will be led by Pastor Steve McChesney, Pastor Emeritus Dr. Philip Ayers and the Rev. Aaron Lyles.
