Mill Creek’s annual fish fry October 23

The annual fish fry at Mill Creek Baptist Church will be held on October 23 from 4:30 until 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall, take out or dine in. The menu will consist of two pieces of fish, parsley potatoes, slaw, bread and a dessert this year for $12. All proceeds will benefit the church building fund.

The annual fish fry has always been a popular fundraiser for the church, so please secure tickets early from one of the following: Tommy Moore at (540) 529-5290, Nancy Epperly at (540) 520-6600, or Sue Sweet at (540) 797-2304. In the past, a bake sale was held with homemade desserts along with the fish fry. This year, a dessert will be included with the meal. If are willing to help with desserts, call Melissa Peery at (540) 529-3556, Kim Lawrence at (540)520-3847 or Melissa Cook at (540) 520-1389.

Covid-19 is still affecting communities so the church will be watching CDC guidelines to make this dinner safe and enjoyable for all. Dining in could be subject to change, and if that becomes affected, it will be communicated to the public through the church’s Facebook page and website.
