Buchanan Food Pantry open Saturday
The Buchanan Lions Club will be hosting the Buchanan Presbyterian Church Food Pantry Saturday, June 14, at 19559 Main Street, Buchanan. Volunteers will be available to distribute food from 9 until 11 a.m. Food is distributed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
Anyone wishing to volunteer or donate food or funds may contact the church at 540-254-1390.
‘Fill the Porch’ at Buchanan Presbyterian
It’s time to “Fill the Porch” at Buchanan Presbyterian Church. The community is invited to once again help neighbors in need by filling the porch with non-perishable food items. Volunteers will be ready to accept donations of food or monetary donations from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. This yearly event is very important in efforts to provide supplemental foods to families in the community. Everyone is thanked in advance for their support.
‘Worship in the Park’ June 29 in Troutville
All are invited to join the Ebenezer United Methodist Church congregation to “Worship in the Park” at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 29 in Troutville Town Park.
Cloverdale Thrift Store spring sale
Cloverdale Church of the Brethren’s Thrift Store has capris and shorts for the whole family. Gently used donations are welcome. The store is open Saturdays, 9 to 12.
