Trinity UMC ‘coffeehouse’ worship begins

Trinity United Methodist will be hold “coffeehouse” style worship services in the fellowship hall for the month of July. The services will include music, prayers, and a special series of messages in a casual, informal setting. The services begin at 11 a.m. The church is located on Main Street, Buchanan. Buchanan Presbyterian changing hours

Buchanan Presbyterian worship hours for July and August will be changed to Sunday School at 9 a.m. and worship at 10 a.m. This begins Sunday, July 2.


Andrew Chapel ice cream supper

Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church will hold its annual ice cream supper on Saturday, July 15, beginning at 5 p.m. The menu will include pork barbeque sandwiches, hot dogs, desserts and homemade ice cream. Live music will be provided by “Easy Pickin’s Band.” Proceeds benefit the church building fund. Andrew Chapel is located at 3936 Beaver Dam Road, just off Springwood Road.


Cloverdale Thrift Shop

The Cloverdale Church of the Brethren Thrift Shop is ready to help you celebrate the Fourth of July with several festive tops, scarves and jewelry to match. It also has received women’s tops, size 1x, 2x and 3x. Some are just like new. The shop is open each Saturday, 9 a.m-1 p.m.
