Churches holding Vacation Bible Schools

Forest Grove Baptist

Forest Grove Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School June 3-7 from 6-8:30 each evening. There will be classes for ages 3 through adults. The theme this year is “In the Wild:  Amazing Encounters with Jesus.” The primary focus will be on real-life encounters with Jesus, found in Scripture. There will be Bible study, missions’ emphasis, music, crafts, games and a light supper each night. Everyone is welcome.

Friday night, June 7 is Family Night. Students will go to their classes from 6-7 that evening. Family members and friends are invited for the presentation of certificates at 7 and to stay for refreshments afterward. Forest Grove Baptist is located at 693 Mt. Moriah Road, Eagle Rock.

Jennings Creek Gospel

Vacation Bible School will be held at Jennings Creek Gospel Church from 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 2-7. The theme is “Giddy Up Junction.” All ages are welcome.

Mill Creek Baptist VBS

Mill Creek Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School Sunday, June 2 through Thursday, June 6 from 6-8:30 p.m. The theme this year is “Roar! Life is Wild, God is Good!”  Children age 2 through grade 5 are invited.  Online registration and more information is available on the church website www.millcreekbc.com. Mill Creek Baptist Church is located at 11475 Lee Highway, Fincastle.

Mt. Bethel Brethren VBS

Mt. Bethel Church the Brethren Vacation Bible School will be held June 3-7, 6-8 p.m. Each night will include crafts, recreation, music, snacks and Bible stories. This year’s theme is “Son Spark Labs Discovering God’s Plan 4 U= Jesus.” The week will finish on Friday with a short presentation and cookout. Mt. Bethel is located at 10630 Narrow Passage Road, Eagle Rock. Contact Connie Woodson, 884-2130, for any questions. All are invited.
