Brian Wayne Coffey, 43, of Eagle Rock, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, A.R. and Mae Coffey and Arthur Craft; uncle, Floyd Coffey; aunt, Wanda Simpson; cousins, Jake Siler, Justin Rhodes, Cody Simmons, Lauren Thomas.

He was a 2000 graduate from James River High School and a welder by trade and employed at Industrial Downtime Solutions. He loved to hunt and fish and was a hard worker doing anything he could to help everyone he knew. He farmed all his life, starting with riding on the tractor with his Pawpaw until he could drive at the age of 9.

Brian was a loving father, son and brother and is survived by his sons, Devin and Camden Coffey; parents, Dennis and Becky Coffey; brothers and sister-in-law, Jason and Rosa Coffey, Philip Coffey; grandmother, Carolyn Craft; nieces, Blayze and Hailey Coffey and Emma Lowe; aunts and uncles, Connie and Rene Bocanegra, Amy Abbott, Jimmy Craft and Keith Poindexter, Kevin (Tamara) Craft, Shirley Siler, Carter Coffey, Joyce and Alton Hylton, Alton and Pat Coffey, Gail Moody, Debbie Thomas, Brenda Coffey, and Helen Coffey; numerous cousins and other family members.

The family received friends on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, with Pastor John Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery. His sons, Devin and Camden want to thank their Dad for all he did for them and they love him very much. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000.
