Daleville Town Center (DTC) kicks off its annual concert series Saturday when Adam Rutledge and special guest Crawford & Power take the stage.

It’s the first of 17 concerts scheduled for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through the summer and early fall.

The Saturday series brings new artists and has been re-branded the “Daleville Summer Concerts,” an announcement by DTC said.  Events will take place 5-9 p.m. on select Saturdays May-September.

Party at the Pavilion returns on select Thursday evenings beginning May 3 when The Kings will take the stage. And, on the second Friday of each month Flat Pickin’ Fridays return, beginning May 11 with Seven Mile Ford on stage.

Additionally, the fifth annual Virginia Beer & Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, June 9 (noon-5 p.m.). Tickets to this event are $30 in advance or $35 at the gate. The VIP experience will be $100. This popular event features over 50 Virginia breweries, wineries and cideries along with local food trucks and local bands. Additional details will be released shortly.

Daleville Town Center continues development initiatives at the property located at 90 Town Center Street in Daleville. “The positive energy at DTC is contagious and our community has rallied to support these music events that raise money for local non-profit organizations,” says Molly Henry, Director of Events, Sales & Marketing for DTC. “We are excited for the 2018 events season to get under way this week and look forward to furthering our charitable initiatives.”

Activities at DTC are presented by Bank of Botetourt and Bud Light.

For the Daleville Summer Concerts opening night Saturday, Adam Rutledge will headline. He and his band play modern country singles from artists that include Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Billy Currington, Jack Ingram, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Montgomery Gentry and Toby Keith.

Jake Crawford and Ethan Power take the stage first Saturday at 5 p.m. With roots in country, Americana and southern rock, they are classic country music revivalists.
