Senior swimmers from James River and Lord Botetourt High Schools will be recognized tonight, January 26, when they compete in a meet at the Botetourt YMCA. Staunton River will also be participating in the meet.

LB was off last week but James River swimmers competed in a meet at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center last week against Radford, Blacksburg, Auburn, Pulaski and host Christiansburg. The River men defeated Pulaski and Auburn and Nathan Etzler took a second place.

Etzler earned two medals for the Knights. He finished second in the 100 Freestyle and also took a third in the 100 Backstroke. In the girls competition, Drew Whitson was third in the Breaststroke.
