Jo Ann Riley Crider, 76, of Troutville left this world to walk with her heavenly Father on Saturday, June 10, 2023. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Erwin Crider; two sisters, Geraldine Harless and Shirley Brads; and one brother; Robert Riley. She was a daughter of the late Albert Riley and Lillie Riley Goodwin.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Eric Roberts of Buchanan; a daughter and son-in-law, Kendra and Mike Williams of Troutville; a grandson, Travis Bierer; and a great- grandson, Walker Bierer; two very special cousins, Doris Chatterton and Marie Wilson; her special friend. Ruby Keith.

She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress for years and loved to sew. Our beautiful mother left a legacy of faith, love, caring and giving for her family and friends. Her spirit and faith will remain deeply ingrained in all who knew and loved her. On June 16, 2023, she would have celebrated her 77th  birthday.

“Blessed letter memories help us to bear the cross,

And soften all the bitterness of heartache and loss,

Priceless little memories are treasures without price,

And through the gateway of the heart, they lead to paradise.

We have our memories of you forever in our hearts.”

Family received friends on Tuesday, June 13, from 1to 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan, with the service starting at 2 p.m. by Pastor Elmer Clemons. Burial followed in Mill Creek Cemetery, Fincastle.
