Members of the Lions Club are gearing up for a busy September. They are performing vision screening in the public schools in Botetourt, are participating in a fundraiser at the September 21 Daleville Fuzzy Logic concert, and have a walking team and volunteers participating in the JDRF Walk on September 22.
The public is always invited to attend a meeting to learn more about the organization whose motto is to “Serve Others.” The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at noon at The Glebe in the Game Room and has a night meeting on the third Tuesday which is held at 6 p.m. at a local restaurant.
