The Daleville Institute Inc. plans to distribute $56,550 to 16 Botetourt area nonprofit organizations before the end of the year as the result of its 2021 fundraising efforts. Benefiting are the Botetourt Education Foundation, American Heart Association, James River Band Boosters. Botetourt Kiwanis, Botetourt YMCA, Botetourt Relay for Life, Botetourt Rotary, Troutville Volunteer Fire Department, Aware Foundation, Orchard Hills Achievement Center, Maroon Crush, DePaul Community Resources, Ryan’s Case for Smiles, Orchard Hills Achievement Center, Total Action for Progress, and Botetourt Longbeards.

The Daleville Institute hosted five Thursday events and eight Saturday events in 2021. “We have tremendous community support for these philanthropic endeavors,” said Molly Henry, Director of Events and Marketing for Daleville Town Center. “We are humbled by the local business support which makes production possible. Bank of Botetourt has been the presenting sponsor since 2017 and their community support has been key to our efforts in supporting local nonprofits.

“Additional corporate partners included John Alderson Agency, Bud Light, Century 21-Wampler Realty, Stateson Homes, Fralin & Waldron, Lumos Networks, The Bank of Fincastle, Valley Business Front, Virginia Mountain Mortgage and The Fincastle Herald. We are continually grateful for the support we receive in Botetourt County and look forward to our next season of event activity,” she said.

Plans are currently underway for the 2022 season. Anyone interested in corporate sponsorship opportunities should contact Molly Henry at Fralin & Waldron’s Corporate Offices at 540-774- 4415.
