The Botetourt Brawlers 9-and-Under (9-U) baseball team has been selected by the USSSA Virginia State Director for baseball to represent Virginia in the 9-U Division in the 2022 National All State Championship in Memphis, Tenn.

The players represent the different districts in Botetourt County. Eagle Rock, Cloverdale, Troutville, Daleville and Fincastle are all represented.

Parents and friends of the team are currently looking for individual donations and sponsors to help offset the costs for the team’s equipment (uniforms and meals) and their families’ lodging while the tournament plays.

Any donations of $600 or more from businesses will get their sponsorship advertised on the team banner and Facebook page; donations under $600 will be advertised on the Facebook page. The banner will be carried to tournaments throughout the season.

Anyone wanting to donate can reach head Coach David Mays directly through Facebook or email (dmays1525@hotmail.com). The team plans on holding several fundraisers and raffles over the next few months to help raise at least $12,000 to offset the cost for lodging and fees.

For more information about the Botetourt Brawlers, visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Botetourt-Brawlers-Baseball-104384355250245.
