The University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga., has Carson Reese Doyle of Roanoke with the following Corps of Cadet award for the 2019-20 academic year: the LTC Brian (BJ) Austin, U.S. Army, Retired Memorial Scholarship. Senior cadets will receive their awards by mail, but returning cadets will have a special ceremony at a later date.
Doyle also was named to the Spring 2020 Dean’s List for achieving at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.
