Students in the Urban Forestry course at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College observed National Arbor Day on April 28 with the planting of 25 Eastern redbuds donated by Dominion Virginia Power. The seedlings will be planted in various locations on the DSLCC Clifton Forge campus. Helping out with the project are DSLCC Forestry students and their instructors, from left: Cameron Little of Verona, Program Head Scott Reigel, Blake Reese of Goshen, Program Lead Billy Newman, Lee McCoy of Buchanan and Jake Good of Mount Sidney.
