The Eagle Rock Ruritan Club honored veterans at the November meeting at the Eagle Rock Community Center. Those who gathered for the meeting gave tribute to those who have served in the various branches of the United States Military Service. One of the guests, Rhonda Ryan, asked to also remember those who are currently serving. It was emphasized to give thanks to the families of military personnel. They, too, sacrificed in the military service rendered by family members.

Five folks from the Eagle Rock Ruritan Club attended the Natural Bridge District Convention which met at the former Home Place in Catawba on Saturday, Nov.19. During the convention, the Eagle Rock Club members were recognized

for their service to the community. Each of the five Community Service Committees was awarded a gold certificate. Those committees are Community Engagement, Public Services, Citizenship and Patriotism, Environment, and Social Development.
