Friends of the Blue Ridge Library will be holding their last book sale of the year October 14-16. All items will be sold at extra low prices at this sale only. Hardcover books, DVDs and CDs will be only 50 cents each. Paperbacks and children’s books will be only 25 cents each. This special sale begins on Thursday, Oct. 14, from 5-8 p.m., and continues on Friday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Proceeds from the book sale help the Friends to support library programs such as the annual summer reading challenge or to purchase materials that the library needs especially those not covered in the annual operating budget.
