[SUBMITTED PHOTO]The Fincastle Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy held meetings in February and March with a great attendance of members. Many items were collected for the Veterans Care Center in Salem. March is the chapter’s anniversary month and was celebrated with posters of pictures for the past 13 years and a program titled “Women Soldiers in the Civil War,” followed by an anniversary cake.
