Botetourt County had six recruits graduate from the Roanoke Regional Fire & EMS Academy on Friday, July 10. They are (from left): front, Nathan Newville, Joseph Mackie and Hunter Smith; back, Benjamin Meadows, Nathan Shields and William Ferguson. This is only the second time that Botetourt has had personnel graduate from the academy. These six new personnel will immediately begin orientation and become firefighter/EMTs and paramedics working in the community.
