The Buchanan Moose Lodge is sponsoring its Sixth Annual Fishing Rodeo on April 25, rain or shine. It will be held at Steve Thrasher’s pond in Springwood, beginning at 11 a.m. This year, proceeds will benefit 6-year-old Liam Camper, who has been diagnosed with myelomeningocele, a severe form of Spina Bifida. This disorder leads to neurological problems in the bladder and bowels as well as paralysis which can cause walking and mobility issues.
Lunch will be provided – hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and a drink.
Activities will include fishing, hay rides, sack races and a 50-50 drawing. Every child will receive a door prize. The cost is $30 for the first child and $20 for additional siblings.
