The Buchanan Moose will host its Eighth Annual Fishing Rodeo at Steve Thrasher’s Pond in Springwood on Saturday, April 20, rain or shine. It begins at 11 a.m., with lunch at noon. Activities will include fishing, hay rides, sack races, a 50-50 drawing, raffle tickets and entertainment for children. Each child will receive a door prize. Lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be provided.

All proceeds will go to the Backpack Buddies for the 2024-2025 school year. The public is encouraged to support this project by participating in the rodeo or donating money and/or door prizes for the day.
