Lord Botetourt High graduate Caleb Franklin (above) is playing baseball for the Roanoke Rails of the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League this summer. The Rails hosted Kernersville in a doubleheader at Salem’s Kiwanis Field on Saturday and dropped both games. They’re scheduled to be back in action tonight, June 19, to host North Wake in a doubleheader at Kiwanis Field. Caleb is currently a member of the University of Lynchburg baseball team.
