Fright Night returns to James River High School this Saturday, Oct. 18, from 6-9 p.m. The annual fundraiser is presented by the JRHS Drama Club and VHSL One-Act Competitive Team.
The students will take over the building and turn it into a scare school whose halls have to be navigated in the darkness and fog. Each hallway has a different theme as visitors go from the beginning to the end. The students will have triggering themes (such as clowns, and gore), so it may not be suitable for small children. However, the club members also will have a code word that tells them not to scare the youngsters.
The doors will open at 6 p.m., and visitors will be paced as they go through in order not to crowd. Fright Night closes at 9 p.m. The entrance to the event is on the back of the school athletic entrance.
Tickets are $8 for teens and adults, and $5 for 12 and under (may not be suitable for small children).
