A fundraiser for 9-year-old Londyn Asbury of Buchanan will be held Saturday, October 5 from 4-7 p.m. at Solomon’s Mission in Buchanan.
Activities include a dinner of chili, cornbread/crackers, and drink for $8 (first come, first served); along with a bake sale and 50/50. Cake walks will begin at 5 p.m., adult bands, $20/kid bands, $10; single walk tickets, $1 each.
Londyn was recently diagnosed with E. coli, which then turned into Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS), and eventually to acute kidney failure. She has been at UVA for the past few weeks and these funds will help her family with bills, traveling expenses, food, etc.
