Skylar Gay of Fincastle was crowned Miss Chesterfield’s Outstanding Teen in January. She is a dual enrollment student at Virginia Western Community College where she is obtaining an Associate Degree in General Studies and Certificate in BioTechnology. Skylar recently participated in National Pancake Day to raise money for equipment and services at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She is offering after-school technology classes at the Fincastle Library. Skylar will compete for the title of Miss Virginia Outstanding Teen in June.
