Joyce Ann Gray, born Joyce Ann Bishop, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born on October 15, 1949, Joyce lived a life rooted in faith, hard work, and love for her family. She loved Jesus with all her heart and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Joyce spent many years working at Ingersoll Rand and Atlas Copco before retiring. Never one to sit still, she began a second career at Edward Jones, where she worked for nine years before retiring in March 2024. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2025 and faced her journey with remarkable strength and unwavering faith.
She was preceded in death by her previous husband, Daniel Davison; parents, Ira and Helen Bishop; brothers, Edward (Lucille) Bishop, Nelson (Audrey) Bishop, Howard (Marie) Bishop, Billy (Christine) Bishop, and Millard (Ruby) Bishop; and brother-in-law, Robert Arthur.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Danny Gray; her children, Carole (Keith) St.Clair, Sherry (Brian) Callahan, and Joseph (Karey) Hall; grandchildren, Hannah (Connor) Knaust, Kirsten Callahan, Rebekah (Kody) Weeks, Kayla (Jake) Chalupnik, Josiah (Samantha) St.Clair, Jeremiah (Anna) St.Clair, Kelsey Hall, Allyson Hall, Brayden Hall, and Katelyn Hall; great-grandchildren, Hunter Chalupnik, Karley Chalupnik, Asher Weeks, Alexia Chalupnik, Russell Weeks, and Rozlyn Weeks; sisters, Katherine (Winston) Hall and Frances Arthur; brothers, Sherman (Juanita) Bishop and David (Louellen) Bishop; sister-in-law, Jill Bishop; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Joyce will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her incredible work ethic, and the love she shared with everyone who was blessed to know her.
A visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Oakey’s East Chapel. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, at Oakey’s East Chapel with the Rev.
