Billie T. Harris went to be with the Lord and reunite with his wife Juanita on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born in Elton, W.Va., where he grew up with his nine brothers.
He served in the U.S. Army as a teletype and crypto repairman in France. Billie took pride in his hard work and dedication to any job he worked. He eventually retired from Norfolk Southern Railway. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had the ability to spin tall tales and get many laughs. Billie will be remembered for his humor, stubbornness, generosity and hard work.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; parents, Ocie Harris and Eula Forren; brothers, Harold, Floyd, Guy, James, Kanso, Jack, and Frank.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Billy; granddaughter, Samantha Zambrello (Ryan); great-granddaughters, Skylar and Laney; brothers, Gary and Bob; and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Burial was private. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfh.com or 540-254-3000.
