Matt Henderlite, a 2016 Lord Botetourt High graduate, is having a terrific year as a freshman on the Roanoke College baseball team. Through 33 games Matt has five wins and no losses and an earned run average of 4.22. He’s pitched 21.1 innings in 10 appearances, nine in relief. The Maroons were 21-12 prior to a Tuesday game at Emory & Henry. The Maroons are at Ferrum today and have a big ODAC doubleheader with Washington & Lee in Lexington on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.
