Herald delivery delayed by Post Office observing Day of Mourning

The Fincastle Herald was mailed as usual Tuesday evening for delivery to subscribers on Wednesday, but that delivery was delayed in most instances because the U.S. Postal Service closed for the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush, who passed away Friday, Nov. 30.

The Herald staff joins in mourning the loss of the country’s 41^st President.
