The Botetourt County Museum of History & Culture will offer visitors a collection of local artifacts that tell the story of Botetourt’s long history and impact through the years. Encounters with Revolutionary soldiers walking around town can also be expected…don’t hesitate to ask them questions about their lives while fighting for America’s independence!
Food trucks this year will offer an even larger variety of choices than in previous years – including the Asian food truck, the BBQ grilled meats including chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, kettle corn, various sweets and ice cream….and the list goes on.
As noted in an earlier article, the quilt show will again present beautiful quilts, and a Quilts of Valor presentation will be made again this year.
Two venues providing live music, activities for the youngsters, and a display of youth art along with historic documents from the late 1700s will round out the variety of things to see and do on Saturday, Sept. 26, beginning at 10 a.m., rain or shine.
