The James River girls basketball team will hold their first Captains Choice Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 7 at the Ashley Plantation Golf Club.
Cost is $400 for a four-person team and that includes greens fee, cart rental, and lunch at noon. During lunch there will be a 50-50 auction, a silent auction and mulligan sales. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
Prizes will be given for first and last place, closest to the pin on holes two and seven, the longest successful putt on hole 18 and the longest drive on hole 5.
There is also an opportunity for hole sponsorships. All proceeds go to the James River girls basketball team.
