Included on the All-Region second team were senior Tanner Dillow at defensive back, senior Ben Bailey at kick return and junior John Austin on the offensive line.
Two Knights made first team All-River Ridge District, both on offense. Conner Church was named at running back and Bailey as the kick returner.
Second team All-District went to Bailey as a receiver, Logan Campbell on the offensive line and George Toliver at tight end on offense. On defense River had five second team selections, Austin on the line, Toliver at defensive end, Campbell at linebacker, and both Dillow and Jake Benson in the secondary.
Glenvar quarterback Aiden Wolk is the district Offensive Player of the Year while Radford’s Tyrel Dobson was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Kevin Clifford of Glenvar is the Three Rivers District Coach of the Year and John Baker, a James River graduate, was named the Pioneer District Coach of the Year in his first year leading Parry McCluer.
