The James River Marching Knights nearly swept the day at The Cavalier Classic Band Competition held at Lord Botetourt High School on October 21. The final results show the hours of hard work spent to perfect an outstanding field performance:

Percussion – 3rd place
Color Guard – 1st place
Marching – 1st place
General Effect – 1st place
Music – 1st place
