On February 16, 2022, Jennifer Jayne Liddick went to be with her absent loved ones: her mother, Katie Hawkins; father, Jim Liddick; husband and father to her eldest sons, David Mays; husband and father to her youngest son, Lewis Terry; sisters: Terri Chihocky and Judy Liddick; brothers, Tim Green, Fred Compy, and Jim Pat Liddick; niece, Amanda King, and her mother-in-law & friend, Carlene Mays.

She is survived by her son, Logan Terry; son, Jacob Mays and his wife Rebecca; son, Joshua Mays and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Rowen Mays, Isaac Mays, and Simon Weddle; sisters: Anita Compy, Becky King, Jeannie Pinkerton and Terri Green; brothers, Pat Green, Buddy Green, Jerry Liddick, Rob Liddick, Mark King and Jeff Mays; nieces, Shannon Compy, Meghan Compy, Jodi Johnson, Sarah King, Vanessa King, Ashley Green, Annie Chihocky, Heidi Keenan, Gretchen Shevelow, Lisa Green, Erica Wallace, Amanda Mays, and Mindy Mays; nephews, Jason Compy, Matthew Compy, Ryan Green, Michael Mays, Dusty Mays, Derek Montgomery, and Todd Talarico; and countless others.

Born in Steubenville Ohio on June 24, 1964, Jenny grew up in Toronto, Ohio. Following the birth of her eldest son Jacob, she moved to Virginia where her sons Joshua and Logan were born, and she met lifelong friends, Sandy Baugess, Anne Nichols, Carman Mann, Ed Neil, and Debbie Shultz who were with her until the end.

Jenny was above all else, a stubbornly loving mother who doted on and unapologetically worried after her boys from the day they were born. Her heart was so full of love for her children and family, that it was truly overwhelming at times. Jenny became ill in November of 2019, and was given six months to live, but she fought her way home to be with Logan. Her dedication to raising her youngest son gave her the strength to fight for over two years, until she saw him through his last childhood birthday, when he turned 17 on February 14, 2022.

She was an avid reader of Danielle Steel, Sydney Sheldon, and Stephen King, among others. She was a gifted writer of short stories and poetry. Among her favorite things in life were her evil cat Sadie, the Steelers, the color purple, frogs, coffee, Marlboros, and Bud Light. She loved to play all sorts of games, like Euchre, Othello, and Yahtzee–and she was a bad loser and a worse winner. She will be missed every day in the hearts of her loved ones, until they meet again.

Visitation with the family was from 5-7 pm at Rader Funeral Home, Daleville, on Tuesday, February 22. The wake immediately followed at Unwined in Daleville at 7 p.m. There will be a separate, Catholic service in March, where her ashes will be laid to rest next to her parents and siblings in Toronto, Ohio; date TBD.

Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.raderfuneralhome.com/tributes/Jennifer-Liddick.
