Joyce Ann Alexander Sanders, 68, of Eagle Rock, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Everette Lynn Alexander; second husband, William Sanders Jr.; parents, Glen, Sr. and Clara Ayers; and brothers, Glen, Jr., Timothy, and Donald Ayers.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Alexander; son, Hank Sanders; granddaughter, Alyssa Bradley; sisters, Cindy (Alfred) Crawford, Terri Ayers, Jamie Rowsey, and Rose Ayers; nephew, Steven Rowsey; nieces, Linda Smith, Shannon Ayers; great-nieces, Amber Lee and Danielle Smith.
Graveside services were held on Friday, January 14, at 2 p.m. in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Sandifer officiating. The family received friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Please consider donations to the funeral home.
