James River High School officials are accepting nominations for the annual Hall of Fame Knights of Distinction Award.

The award is designed to recognize former students, teachers, and staff members who have brought distinction to the school through their service to the school and community, contributions to society, personal character, honesty, and accomplishments in or out of school.

A selection committee will choose the final inductees and they will be honored at a special ceremony in May at the school. A plaque honoring the Hall of Fame inductees will be placed in the school in recognition of their achievements.

Former student nominees should be departed the school at least 10 years and faculty or staff nominees can no longer be full-time employees of the school.

To receive a nomination form, call James River High School at 992-3610 or 254-1121 by April 7.

Completed nomination forms and two letters of recommendation must be returned to the school by April 21.
