The Botetourt Kiwanis Club continues its Restaurant of the Week project, in which members pledge to patronize a Botetourt County restaurant forced to reduce its operations by the governor’s order. This week’s Restaurant of the Week is a newcomer to Botetourt, the Creekside Deli, near Veranda Bistro. Kiwanians added a Business of the Week, and this week it is Bank of Botetourt.
The Kiwanis Club contributes to the coupon project of the Daughters of the American Revolution, collecting coupons to send to U.S. troops stationed in Japan. In spite of concerns over coronavirus, the DAR has already sent over $400,000 worth of coupons. Kiwanis is proud to play a role in this effort.
The next meeting of the club will take place on Friday, July 10 at 7 a.m. Guests are always welcome.
