At its Zoom meeting on Friday, July 10, the Kiwanis Club of Botetourt set the date of September 12 for its annual Recycling and Shredding Event at Lord Botetourt High School. Club members also received an update on the Botetourt Library Reading Program, to which the Kiwanis Club is a contributor.
The Kiwanis Club continues its Restaurant of the Week project, in which members pledge to patronize a Botetourt County restaurant forced to reduce its operations by the governor’s order. This week’s Restaurant of the Week is Lentini’s. Kiwanians recently added a Business of the Week, and this week it is Downhome Pharmacy.
