The Lord Botetourt girls will be at Northside Thursday night for the first round of the Blue Ridge District soccer tournament.

The LB girls are the top seed, and they’ll take on the winner of a play-in game between William Fleming and Northside at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Staunton River will face William Byrd in the second game and the winners will play at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Northside for the BRD championship.

The Cavaliers come into the post-season at 10-2-3 after losing at Northside last week, 1-0. The Vikings scored with just under five minutes on the clock to take the win.

LB will open Class 3, Region D tournament action at home on May 24.
