“We had three starters out but our kids wrestled well,” said LB coach Chuck Burton.
The Cavaliers are now off until the Region 3D tournament, which is scheduled for February 5 and 6. The site and format of the tournament is yet to be decided.
“We are in a holding and training pattern from now until our regional tournament,” said Burton. “We will know more on Friday, who is in and who is not, and a decision will be made on format at that time.”
The state tournament is still scheduled for the Salem Civic Center.
