Lord Botetourt High School is holding its 50th Anniversary Open House Saturday, May 22 from 1- 4 p.m., and all current and former students, parents, faculty, administrators and community members are invited.

The event will celebrate 50 years of academic excellence with tours of the school’s facilities and displays of five decades of school pictures and school memorabilia. The school opened in the fall of 1959 and the event is part of its anniversary celebration this school year.

LBHS 50th Anniversary Logo-RedA program will be held at 2 p.m. in the school auditorium with a reception following.

Throughout the afternoon, all past yearbooks will be on display in the library and the Booster Club will have LBHS shirts available for purchase.

For more information, contact Elizabeth Bolton, ebolton@bcps.k12.va.us, 992-1261.
