Priscilla Anne Divers LeFew, 74, of Buchanan, died at her home Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Priscilla was born May 30, 1949 in Roanoke to the late Claudine Alda Hill and William Oliver Divers. She lived in the Botetourt area all of her life.
Priscilla had a myriad of different jobs throughout her life, including Pepsi Cola, but her calling was mostly in her church where she served 13 years as a Ministry Assistant at Fincastle Baptist Church.
She was a member of Fincastle Baptist Church and enjoyed serving in her church community. Pricilla also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes; which she was known best for her wedding and special occasion cakes, preacher cookies, and candies.
In addition to her parents, Priscilla was preceded in death by her brother: Robert Divers. She is survived by her loving husband of 39+ years, James Charles (Charlie) LeFew; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill, Jr. (Susan) Divers, David (Susan) Divers, and Richard (Pam) Divers; sister, Nancy Divers; uncle, Glenn (Evelyn) Hill; first cousin once removed, Peggy (Melvin) Gregory; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Priscilla’s life was held 12 noon Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Fincastle Baptist Church, with Pastor Kevin Cummings officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
