It’s National Library Week!
April 23-29
This year’s theme is “There’s More to the Story.” Libraries are full of stories in print, audio, and digital format – and so much more! At the library, you can borrow birding backpacks, puzzles, telescopes, and learning kits. You can take classes online or attend in-person book clubs, StoryTimes, movie nights, craft and computer classes. You can use public computers and wifi, meet up with friends and community groups in library meeting spaces, or find a quiet space to get away from it all. You can get support to find a job, research your family history, build your small business, get paperwork notarized, or receive expert referrals to preserve your historic property. The possibilities are endless. We’re so grateful for the privilege to serve this amazing community and hear your stories every day.
What has the public library meant to you? Share your story on social, in-person, email bocolibraries@botetourtva.gov or fill out a form at bocolibraries.info. We’d love to hear your story!
