Buchanan Lions Club announced that the English tea held on August 6 at the Community House was a wonderful success and that those who attended have reported that they had a lot of fun.
The Lions thank all who bought tickets and attended, and to all the community members and friends who donated baskets and items for the silent auction.
A total of $2,620 was raised from both tea tickets and the silent auction. Every penny raised goes back into all of the club’s programs that support the community as well as vision, diabetes and hearing programs.
