Buchanan Town Council recognized Jan and Dick Litton with a Buchanan Appreciation Award during the recent Town Council meeting. The Littons were recognized for more than 40 years of service to the community through their combined efforts at Trinity Episcopal Church, Buchanan Rotary, The Episcopal Boys Home, Standing Room Only, the Buchanan Town Improvement Society, the Northern Botetourt County Community Garden, the Botetourt Resource Center, Fairview Cemetery Association and the Botetourt Christian Free Clinic.
