Senior softball girls from the class of 2020 had two days of softball at the Arnold Burton fields in Salem last week. Six Lord Botetourt and two James River girls participated, and the 48 girls among four teams played games on July 20 and 21. Girls were recognized with their families on Monday, and several other girls joined the competition on Tuesday, including Lakota Lucado from James River High. LB coach Cheryl Shockley and James River assistant Ryan Firebaugh were among the coaches and everyone had a great time and played some terrific softball.
