Lord Botetourt had first team all-region selections for both the boys and the girls when the All-Region 3D basketball teams were announced following the end of the high school season.
For the boys, senior Conner Tilley was a first team selection. Junior Jackson Crawford made the second team, and Ashton Bramblett, a senior, was named honorable mention. Ayrion Journette of Northside was named Region 3D Player of the Year.
Tilley and Crawford are both first-teamers on the All-Blue Ridge team, while Bramblett and Tyler Meade were second team selections.
For the girls, LB senior Ally Spangler was named to the all-region first team. Sophomore Taylor Orange was a second team choice, and the Cavaliers had three girls on honorable mention, senior Jada Morgan and sophomores Gracie Huffard and Ainsley Anderson. Jeni Levine of Staunton River was the region Player of the Year for the girls.
Spangler and Orange were first team choices for the All-Blue Ridge District District team. Huffard and Anderson made the second team.
